What is The Mallorca Experience
The Mallorca Experience is a wonderful combination of cultural visits, very short walks, fabulous food and a beachside 4-star holiday base. If you don’t want to do a lot of walking, but love the great outdoors, this holiday is for you.
What happens during The Mallorca Experience
The Mallorca Experience follows a very similar pattern to our standard walking holidays, but without having to do too much walking. Each day, we’ll leave the hotel and enjoy a different cultural experience. Last year our Mallorca Experience holiday included the following:
At the end of our day’s activities, we take a fabulous lunch in a local restaurant, before returning to the hotel.
Our holiday base
This holiday is based from the 4 star “Los Geranios Hotel” on the Port of Soller. This classy little hotel is right on the beach and at the quiet end of the port. All rooms are impeccable and most have at least partial sea views from their balconies. The hotel also has a small restaurant, where lovely meals and snacks are served. Whilst at the quiet end of the Port, there are plenty of small bars, restaurants and classy shops within a 5-minute walk. If you don’t want to walk too far, the hotel itself has a small intimate bar and terrace from which to watch the world go by.
The food on our holidays
We pay a lot of attention to this aspect of our holidays and people comment that we should market the holiday as an outdoor and gastronomic experience. During the week, we eat at several different restaurants, all having been personally selected by ourselves. Without blowing our own trumpet, the food and wine (which is included and unlimited) are way in front of what you’d normally expect on this type of holiday.
