What To Bring

We try to provide as much as possible for our walking, cycling and painting holidays, but here’s a guide as to what you should bring yourself should you decide to join us.

Walking Holidays

  • Good quality walking boots or shoes
  • A small rucksack
  • A sunhat and sun cream
  • A water bottle (we top you up all the way round each walk)
  • A light waterproof jacket
  • Swimming costume/trunks and a towel
  • European health card

Don’t worry about walking poles as these are provided by us.

Cycling Holidays

We provide all of the bikes, crash helmets and cushioned seat covers for the cycling holiday, but for your comfort, you might want to invest in some padded shorts, which are available from most sports shops these days. Other than that, you should look to bring the following with you:

  • Sun cream
  • Waterproof jacket
  • European health card

You won’t need to carry a rucksack. Everything that you need can be stored in the support vehicle for the day.

Painting Holidays

To get the best from your painting holiday, you should bring the following items with you:

  • Pencil(4B), pencil sharpener and rubber
  • Watercolour paper/sketchbook/pad
  • Paints (we suggest Rose Madder, Lemon Yellow, Ultra Marine and Phthalo Blue
  • 3 brushes, (we suggest 1 small, 1 medium and 1 large)
  • A rag, water pot and palette
  • A carrying bag
  • Camera
  • European Health Insurance card (EHIC)

We provide fold down chairs for our painting holiday guests.
